I'm (insert religion here) unless you're (insert thing that does not fit in my worldview here)

I spend a fair amount of my time on a Jediism forum, Temple of the Jedi Force. While there are not a lot of active members at the moment, we have a lot of good converstaions, a lot of research, and a lot of self discovery.

Rozen, over at the Temple, posted a link to a Single Dad Laughing blog post title, I'm Christian, unless you're gay. This is something that [personal profile] redsixwing and I have talked about a few times, but it has been on a more personal level, and certainly not this public. And is not something I want to make public at this time, mostly becuase I do not recall the full converstaion.

So, if you have a chance, go give it a read. Also, check out some of the more powerful responses here and here.

Holy carp, Batman.
Did I seriously just read a self-identified Christian write "Hate IS Love?"
Really? See also: Ignorance is strength, war is peace, obey obey OBEY.

But all the positive responses. That's where I want to focus. The guy saying that writing literally saved his life. The daughter whose school is less awful. The people who are seeing this and listening.

That's a powerful piece of writing.
